If you’re prone to cold sores regularly, taking acyclovir or valcyclovir starting one day prior to your microchanneling will reduce the likelihood of a breakout.
If your liver, kidneys and immune system are healthy, taking an NSAID such as Ibuprofen 2 hours before treatment may reduce any discomfort.
Topical numbing cream will be applied on the treatment area for 20 min prior the procedure.
If you are being treated for hair loss, please arrive with clean hair. Please do not apply sprays or gels.

For Hair: Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo and don't put any product in it on the day of your treatment.
Post-Treatment Care:
Expect mild redness and swelling, and a tight, warm sensation for between 4 to 24 hours.
DO NOT apply anything to treated areas for 90 minutes after your treatment is finished unless it is provided to you by your certified ProCell provider with instructions.
DO NOT touch treated areas with your hands, cellphone or any other foreign objects for 90 minutes after your treatment is finished! Bacteria from these sources can cause irritation or possible acne breakout.
If any Microchannel Delivery Solution roll-on remains at the end of treatment, apply every 5–10 minutes until gone.
Preferably no other products are applied until the following day.
Avoid exposure to pet dander and other irritants as best you can. You may experience a mild allergic reaction to pets and other things you typically do not react to within the first 24 hours.
To help keep the skin hydrated drink plenty of water.
Avoid sweating for the first 24 hours (No gym, sauna, swimming, spicy food, exercise, etc.)
Avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours post treatment.
Mild skin sloughing may occur for a few days after treatment.
Mild acne and milia can occur in rare cases. Don’t pick and they’ll go away in a few days.
Trans Epidermal Water Loss is a common temporary side effect and could leave you feeling dry through the first week. Keep the recommended moisturizer with you during the day and apply as frequently as necessary to avoid a dry sensation. The more you moisturize the better your results will be.
Beginning the following morning: apply the Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator to enhance results. (Cleanse and apply 1-3 pumps). Apply daily, morning and evening.
Return for a follow up treatment in about a month or as recommended.
For hair: do not wash your hair for 2 days.
Aftercare Instructions:
Hydrate and moisturize your skin constantly to achieve the best results! Never let your skin dry out! Water is the least expensive and most powerful advantage you can add to your daily skincare routine!
Post-care Cellular Renewal & Healing Accelerator Trial Serums are available for $50. Apply twice daily (AM/PM) at home for 7 days to enhance results, starting 24 hours after treatment. Throughly cleanse treated areas and apply Cellular Renewal Serum (Step 1). Wait 30 seconds and apply Healing Accelerator Serum (Step 2). Wait for serums to fully absorb before applying any other product to treated area. Requires direct contact with skin to be effective.
Things your skin may be feeling that are signs the treatment is working: tightness, itchiness, warmth, sensitivity, general light sunburn appearance to skin, redness, etc... These are all great indications that your skin is healing and producing youthful collagen!
Home Hair Care Serum is available for purchase, if doing the hair treatment. Apply several drops to treating thin areas to clean scalp.
Procell Microchanneling is microneedling evolved!
In the past microneedling technologies (like the pens and rollers) relied on inflammation and creating damage to the skin in order to trigger tissue repair via your body's powerful wound healing ability. Chemical Peels, IPL & laser treatments all have their place in aesthetic skin care, and they all produce improvement by a mild, controlled injury to the skin in order to cause a healing response for rejuvenation.
STIMULATION NOT INFLAMMATION - Procell microchanneling is about STIMULATION, not INFLAMMATION.
Procell Microchanneling is unique in that it stimulates a wound healing response and new collagen production by triggering the release of epidermal growth factors, peptides and cytokines with little actual damage to the skin.
Procell Microchanneling improves the appearance of aging skin, increases the vitality of your skin, and reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, acne & acne scarring, stretch marks and hair loss. It also improves the clinical health of your skin by stimulating a rejuvenation cascade that your body has built in, just waiting to be activated! Procell turns it on!
Procell Microchanneling produces maximum stimulation, with minimal inflammation. This balanced approach to skin rejuvenation reduces recovery time to near zero, while maximizing results! The typical recovery involves just a day or so of mild redness, and any evidence that you’ve had “something done “can be covered with a quality mineral makeup within 90 minutes of treatment!
You’ll experience an almost immediate improvement in skin tone, texture, laxity, fine lines and wrinkles. And you’ll see long term improvement that resists the aging process when you complete a series of treatments.
Why Procell is better?
Procell provides truly accurate depth of penetration via fixed needle lengths, and properly spaced needles to eliminate resistance to penetration. Other devices drag and scratch the skin and are re-tooled permanent makeup devices with their needles bunched too close together so they do not perform at the depth advertised on the dial.
Microchanneling vs Microneedling
Microchanneling is a linear stamping method that creates uniformly distributed channels without causing skin tearing or dragging, leading to reduced discomfort. The treatment is quicker due to wider tips covering more surface area. Additionally, microchanneling typically involves minimal downtime. In contrast, microneedling creates irregular and angled channels, making it a more abrasive procedure with downtime lasting between 5 to 7 days.
Why does skin age?
You age visibly and invisibly, every day. Sun damage, internal inflammation, chemicals, and even gravity all work against the youthful vitality of your skin.
As we get older, our ability to repair diminishes dramatically.
What is in Procell Serums?
Procell's Microchannel Delivery Serum contains bone marrow-derived growth factors in a hyaluronic acid suspension. Both of these elements are naturally-occurring in the human body. There are no human, animal, or plant cells, DNA, blood, or any other foreign substances. The product has been used safely and effectively for over a decade.
These growth factors support cellular renewal and have strong regenerating properties to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and tone. The appearance of scarring improves, fine lines and wrinkles diminish overtime and skin looks and feels brighter, more luminous and healthy.
Microchanneling with Stem Cell Growth Factors serums:
Naturalistic Approach to Anti-Aging / NO Downtime
Firm, Tighten & Tone Skin / Stimulate Collagen and Elastin Production
Smooth Acne Scars / Promote Cell Turnover
Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: What is microchanneling?
A: Microchanneling is a noninvasive procedure designed to stimulate your body’s own natural ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other building blocks of healthy skin. By stimulating the outermost layers of the skin, microchanneling can help your body start this process without penetrating into living tissue.
Q: How long should I wait in between treatments?
A: Leave at least 3-4 weeks in between treatments.Treatments for hair regrowth should be performed every 2 weeks for at least 3 treatments but 5 are recommended.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: With minimal physical discomfort, most clients are able to do the procedure without numbing cream and without any noticeable pain. There is no lingering discomfort, and we have a number of strategies we employ to minimize discomfort during treatment. Post-procedure, most people report a “tight” feeling in their skin.
Q: How many treatments should I get?
A: Number of treatments range greatly depending on what we are treating. For light anti-aging treatments, 1-2 treatments may be sufficient. For deeper wrinkles and acne scarring, 4-6 treatments may be required to achieve desired results. There is no limit to the number of treatments that one can receive as long as adequate time passes in between each treatment.
Q: What can I expect after the treatment?
Right after microchanneling, you can expect your skin to look pink or red. The degree of redness can vary based on a person’s natural response to treatment.
You can expect mild swelling and a tight, warm sensation similar to a mild sunburn that may last 4-24 hours.
Mild skin sloughing or flaking may occur for a few days after treatment.
Trans-Epidermal Water Loss (dehydration) is a common temporary side effect and could leave you feeling dry throughout the first week.
Pinpoint marks may be visible on the skin, these generally look like tiny flecks of redness and may last anywhere from 4-72 hours.
Q: What will microchanneling improve the appearance of?
A: Fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, loose skin, stretch marks, hair loss, and rosacea are all conditions that microchanneling can improve.
Q: How long is the downtime?
A: As little as 90 minutes. After microchanneling treatment, wait a minimum of 90 minutes before applying anything else to the skin including sunscreen, makeup, moisturizer, and anything apart from the remainder of the vial of microchanneling solution. Typically it then takes between 4 to 72 hours for all redness to disappear. 90 minutes after treatment, patients can apply moisturizers.
Q: Who can do the treatment?
A: As Procell microchanneling treatments are minimally invasive, they are also safe for all skin types. Whether you are fair-skinned or dark, and even if you experience chronic breakouts, properly conducted microchanneling treatments will not result in hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, or other lasting negative side effects.
Q: How long before I can expect to see results?
A: You may notice an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours! After 2-3 treatments skin thickening and improvement of the cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. And 6 or more treatments may be recommended for laxity and wrinkles. For hair regrowth some reactivation typically appears within the first 2 weeks, with noticeable improvement after about 5 weeks.
Q: Are there any contraindications?
A: While microchanneling treatments are safe and effective for most people, there are some people who will not be good candidates for these types of treatments. Here is a general contraindication list that should be considered by anyone who is thinking of undergoing microchanneling:
Pregnancy – if you are pregnant or nursing you are advised to not receive any microchanneling treatments. To date, there have been no studies conducted to see what effects these treatments may have on the unborn child, but as a general rule, pregnant women should stay away from any type of cosmetic/elective procedures.
Diabetes – unstable diabetes patients should not be treated due to problems with healing.
Accutane or any related acne medication – Accutane or any related drug should be discontinued for a minimum of 6 months prior to undergoing microchanneling.
Active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area – treatment is possible once the outbreak is healed, however, it may be advisable to take prescription-strength antiviral medication to keep this condition in remission during the treatment series.
Any active inflammatory skin condition – e.g. eczema, psoriasis, infection, acne, or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site (because it may aggravate the condition)
Stainless steel allergies - anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment.
Q: Can I combine this with other treatments?
A: Do not perform any procedures that involve the use of any topical solutions immediately following microchanneling. LED light therapy are typically the only treatments recommended post-microchanneling. In general you should always check with your doctor with questions on specific treatments.
Q: Do I have to use the microchanneling solution / aftercare serums?
A: Microchanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines and growth factors that induce collagenesis. As you get older, the stem cells that produce these vital proteins lose efficacy and decline in population, so microchanneling alone becomes less and less effective. Because of premature aging, the post care Cellular Renewal Serum and Healing Accelerator become more necessary to produce lasting noticeable improvement. Use of the products ensure the skin continuously receives potent, robust, pristine peptides, cytokines and growth factors even in between treatments. Think of diet and exercise – Microchanneling without serums is like exercising without dieting. Results will be good with microchanneling only, great with serums.
